Goa is the ultimate destination for the beach bums and I am one. When I close my eyes and think about Goa, all I can see is the pristine blue waters with the golden sand everywhere.
We decide to take a trip during the monsoon, as we could experience a different face of Goa and escape the harsh sun and tan as we are naturally tanned with the genes 🙂
We planned our trip during the Dussera holidays and some of our friends joined from Pune and Kerala. We booked our rooms in a home stay next to Vagator beach which is not commercialized like Baga and Calangute beaches. We were planning a relaxed vacation with no makeup , beach hopping ,enjoying the sunset and have amazing foods. And It worked out that way 🙂The weather was at its best during our visit. As we expected, it was drizzling in the mornings and the climate became pleasant and chilly at the same time through out the day. There were so much greenery around and crowd is very less during this time of the year.It was an exceptional beach experience.we could just sit on the beach for hours and relax with a bottle of beer and not worry about the sun too much. We did visit some famous forts as well.It was kind of a get together as we were meeting up after a really long time and also we ended up taking a road trip to Dudhsagar falls which is near Goa-Karnataka Border which was real fun.We stayed for 3 days and it was a wonderful trip and I am in love with the monsoon version of Goa and I wish I could stay there forever!!!
